It requires a fine awareness of what other people are feeling, and the use of our own personality and abilities to lead them in-spite-of their feelings. Without knowing ourselves first, it is hard to know other people.

Leaders by definition choose not to follow the well trodden cow paths of life. Instead they choose to blaze new paths, to pioneer and innovate, to do different things in different ways.

Leadership skills like vision, inspiration and emotional intelligence can be trained on training courses – but it takes a different kind of course. In most leadership training programs you will see models of leadership discussed, followed by practical exercises that analyze logically what went right and wrong in a ‘leadership game’.

Leaders are people, who are able to express Leadership in organizations has a different and more meaningful definition. Very simply put, a leader is interpreted as someone who sets direction in an effort and influences people to follow that direction.

People who feel like winners tend to win more often. People participate when they agree to allow themselves to be organized by some who is in tune of their needs and wants.

In a participative organization people accept responsibility for work to be done, accept that it is their job to carry out a part of the activities and that they will be held accountable for the quality of their work.
